Venn Group IT Support Consultant SC Cleared 3 month+ Contract Hybrid – Dorset Outside IR35 (£400-£500 DOE)
Our client urgently require an IT Support Engineer to join them on a long-term term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team working on a crucial defence programme.
Responsibilities:
- Work on specifically built and build new laptops when required, ensuring that all laptops are secure to OS level, configuration of VPN and installing MDM
- Provide infrastructure guidance and support on upcoming builds and projects
- Install, maintain and support several defence applications
- Creation of Users in Active Directory
Skills Required:
- Experience working on MoD Communications and Information Services (CIS)
- Knowledge of Linux architectures and use of CLI
- Experience building, managing, installing and securing laptops/machines
- Understanding of AI use cases and LLM functionality
Desired Skills:
- Kubernetes experience
- Networking experience (CCNA Level)
- Cloud Architecture (Azure/Oracle)
- Ex-signals/Ex-RAF Technical Support would be highly desirable
