As a Sensor Deployment Coordinator, you will work alongside the team to ensure the seamless operation and deployment of various UAV-mounted sensors to ensure that they contribute to the creation of cutting-edge solutions.
In your first few weeks in this Sensor Deployment Coordinator role, you can expect to:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of flight operations, emphasizing risk reduction and safety
- Oversee our UAV maintenance and flight preparation process
- Establish and enhance quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with CAA guidelines and operational efficiency
- Grow our remote sensing capabilities by training and utilising our technician team as pilots for safe and high-quality flight operations within agricultural contexts
To apply for this Sensor Deployment Coordinator role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
- Experience operating both fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs in a commercial setting
- At least two years' experience managing offsite operations in remote areas
- Have held a valid GVC or equivalent in the past 5 years
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your tasks and those of others effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays, on occasion
