Are you a skilled Contract Computer Vision Engineer ready to tackle exciting challenges in industrial automation and robotics? Our Dorset-based client, a leading specialist and integrator in aerospace, renewables, and defence, is looking for you! With the ability to work on a remote basis, this is definitely a role not one to pass up.
On an initial 3-month project, you will be asked to work independently to create highly sophisticated code which will enable our client to meet an ever-growing need as their portfolio expands. Information is limited due to an NDA at this stage, however, this project will be a great addition to your skill base.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Development and implementation of 3D vision systems for robotic applications.
- Collaboration on integrating vision systems into automated solutions.
- Analyze and optimize 3D imaging data to enhance robotic performance.
Key Skills required, Contract Computer Vision Engineer - Remote Working
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Experience in 3D vision systems and image processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C++ or C#
- Familiarity with vision libraries/tools (OpenCV, PCL).
As our client is considered exempt for IR35 purposes, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing IR35 status, should you wish to operate via your own PSC.
