Job Role: Management Accountant
Location: Loughborough
Salary: 40k Per Annum (DOE)- 12 Month Maternity Cover

The Company: Join our dynamic finance team in Loughborough as a Management Accountant for a maternity cover position. This role is integral to our operations, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and playing a key part in our financial management.
What You'll Do:
- Produce and present monthly management accounts to the Board of Directors.
- Analyse financial data and share insights with the management team.
- Collaborate with external auditors to complete annual statutory accounts.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly payroll data to our third-party provider.
- Enhance and maintain financial controls and procedures.
- Oversee and reconcile the balance sheet, including fixed assets.
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns, P11Ds, and PSA returns with HMRC.
- Drive the development of monthly cost centre reviews.
- Step in for the Financial Controller when necessary.
What We're Looking For:

- A recognized UK accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

2-3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience with Dynamics 365.
