The Role

As a Finance Business Partner (Sales and Margin), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Revenue and Gross Margin Analysis

: Conducting detailed analyses to drive sales and margin improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Management

: Collaborating with senior stakeholders to provide insightful financial support and influence decision-making processes.

  • Project Management

: Leading projects around budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning.

  • Business Partnering

: Establishing strong relationships with various business units to support financial performance and strategic initiatives.

  • Process Improvement

: Identifying and implementing key processes and reporting enhancements to streamline financial operations.

  • International Group Experience

: Leveraging your experience in a multinational environment to navigate complex financial landscapes and provide robust financial guidance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Senior Finance Experience

: Proven experience at a senior finance level, with a history of reporting directly to the Financial Controller or higher.

  • International Group Exposure

: Experience working within an international group, bringing a global perspective to financial management.

  • Relevant Industry Background

: Experience in an organization of similar size (500-600 employees) and complexity, preferably within a manufacturing context.

  • Technical Skills

: Familiarity with NetSuite and Board is beneficial, though not essential.

  • Analytical Proficiency

: Strong skills in revenue and gross margin analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights.

  • Project Management Expertise

: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, particularly around budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Small Team Dynamics

: Experience working in a relatively small finance team at the centre of a group, providing hands-on financial leadership.
