Joining us as our new Change Communications Lead for the Technology Transition Programme, you will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to support the programme of work to exit a large and complex TSA.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and content development skills.
This role will initially be offered on a 6-month fixed term basis, with potential scope to extend. This position will work on a hybrid basis from our offices in London.
What you'll be doing:
Communications strategy:
- Refine, own and implement a change communication strategy to support the technology transition programme.
- Support with change impact assessments and readiness evaluations to assess what communications are needed and when.
- Identify potential risks and resistance and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications activities and adjust strategies as needed.
- Organise and facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders at all levels.
Content development:
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all programme-related communications.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align communication efforts.
- Design and develop the full suite of communication materials to support the transition. This will include writing copy for intranet pages and email communications, developing job aides and how-to-guides, collating and refining FAQs and managing video development.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, project teams, and end-users.
- Facilitate regular meetings and feedback sessions to address concerns and gather input.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the transition process.
Programme Support:
- Reporting into Global Change and Communications Lead, you will also work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Programme Directors to ensure alignment of communication activities with overall programme goals.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
What we're looking for:
- Proven track record of managing communications in large-scale change initiatives, in matrix, global organisations.
- Good understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good understanding of how details matter in terms of guiding colleagues through change.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to navigate change in a fast-paced environment.
