Senior Management Opportunity in Auditing - Pathway to Partnership ( NO SPONSORSHIP)

Role & Responsibilities:
- Led the client service management team in audit strategy formulation and planning.
- Serve as a technical expert, offering advice and leadership to both the audit team and clients.
- Manage client audits to ensure completion within budget and deadlines.
- Engage in people management, including coaching, feedback, performance management, and team development.
- Maintain control and stability under pressure, adhering to deadlines and urgencies.
- Uphold the firm's standards and procedures across the team.
- Oversee the firm's audit compliance and quality management in line with ISQM1.
- Present audit summaries and reports, including group reporting and audit committee papers.
- Identify and seize new work opportunities and prospects.
- Contribute to business development and collaborate with colleagues across teams.
- Act as a liaison for senior management and clients, building robust working relationships.
- Demonstrate vision and strategic perspective, delivering clear presentations on service features and benefits.
- Ensure the provision of audit services aligns with client needs and quality expectations.
- Produce high-quality work that meets the firm's policy, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- A minimum of ten years' practice experience post-ACA or ACCA qualification, predominantly in auditing.
- Significant experience in leading external audits, managing client portfolios, and directing audit teams.
- Previous role at a senior management level or as a Responsible Individual (RI).
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft packages.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, people, and team management abilities.
- Proven track record of new business acquisition.
- Innovative in developing new initiatives and methodologies.
- Skilled in issue identification through analysis and commercial acumen.
- Project ownership, delegation, and quality control expertise.
- Established network of client contacts and market connections.
Location & Remuneration: This full-time position is based in Bridgwater, offering a competitive salary range of £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
