Our client, an established Gloucestershire brand with a unique and stylish offering, if looking for a Sales Manager to lead, develop and grow a high performing sales team.

Interested parties will be happy with leading from the front, rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in as well as coaching and developing the team to perform at the highest level.

As Sales Manager, you will be based in Cheltenham, however, can work from home two or three days a week.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Developing and delivering a robust sales strategy to meet the financial objectives of the business
  • Leading and coaching a team as well as recruitment of new sales staff
  • Developing business within brand new, lapsed and existing accounts
  • Booking and attending meetings with new, lapsed and existing clients and accompanying your team to similar meetings
  • Designing and delivering proposals and presentations for your own clients and those of your team
  • Taking full accountability for achieving agreed sales and revenue targets
  • Ensuring individual KPI's and targets are met or exceeded for the entire sales team
  • Managing a busy week of sales activity and ensuring related administration is complete

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience of leading and developing a consistently high performing sales team
  • Experience of setting and delivering a robust sales strategy for a sales team
  • Commercial acumen and strong sales ability with proven track record of developing new business
  • Resilience, tenacity, drive and determination in droves
  • A desire to deliver exceptional results for your clients and your team
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Technical competence and ability to confidently use a range of systems and platforms
  • Good social media skills and an open, gregarious and confident personality with excellent leadership skills
  • A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role
  • The successful candidate will live within commutable distance to Cheltenham and have connections within the local market.
