Search are currently looking for Band 6/7 Diabetes Nurses with community experience to work within a team based in Camberley.
The team need support for 2-3 days a week, 09:00-17:00 or 08:00 - 16:00 between Mon-Fri. They are supportive and friendly and truly make a difference to peoples lives and our passionate about patient care.
They must be able to drive and have their own transport.
Main duties
- Management of own workload, responding to urgent clinical/service needs across locality and liaising with colleagues as required.
- To contribute to specialist protocols and policies for diabetes.
- Assess, plan and implement specialist nursing care programs. This may be for individual patients or for groups of patients.
- Responsible for providing specialist nursing care to patients with complex needs, e.g., those patients requiring insulin therapy.
