They are looking for a candidate to help manage the end to end purchase ledger and develop through the team. The team and business is growing, and it is an exciting opportunity for any candidates that are looking to grow and develop as an accountant.
Description
The successful AP will:
- Management of the Accounts Payable inbox
- Processing of the Accounts Payable invoices - high volume
- Preparation and processing of the payment runs
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations (GBP, EURO)
- Aged creditor report
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Assist with the production of the financial reports and audits
- Ad hoc month-end assistance
Profile
The successful AP will:
- Have a 1-2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Prior experience working in the retail industry (desirable, not essential)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
- Actively studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification
