Internal Sales Estimator - York Area
Adept Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of a new client based on the outskirts of York who are looking to add an Internal Sales Estimator to their team on a permanent basis.
This is for one of the UKs leading structural steel suppliers who are continuously growing and looking to expand the business!
Key role and responsibilities of an Internal Sales Estimator:
- Answering inbound calls and emails
- Compiling accurate cost calculations to existing customers and potential new customers.
- Assist customers with technical and product advice to ensure a complete sale and ongoing business.
- Liaising with transport, despatch, accounts and purchasing teams on progress of orders.
- Updating clients and providing good communication regarding orders.
- Updating internal systems.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
- Candidates with a steel background are massively desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong maths and enjoying working with numbers.
- Calm and considered approach to working under pressure.
- Good judgement and professionalism to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

This is a permanent job opportunity for the candidate following a successful interview stage with the company. The working hours are Monday to Friday and can be flexible around core hours/within the team. The annual salary is £28,000-£33,000 depending on experience and will be discussed at interview stage.
