The Company:
My client is a UK based multidisciplinary consultancy, who offer services in Acoustics, Vibration, and Air Tightness. They are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing Acoustics team, in Colchester! They are involved in an impressive portfolio of projects from hotels, Ministry of Defence, and 30 story residential blocks. This is the perfect role for a fresh graduate to kickstart their career in the Acoustics industry.
Role responsibilities include:
- Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, Acoustic modelling software.
- Liaising with key professionals e.g. contractors architects and developer.
- Providing noise and vibration surveys, according to Building Regulations.
- Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.
- Input into architectural design projects.
- Undertaking sound insulation testing.
Ideal candidate will need:
- A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
- A motivated attitude.
- Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
- UK driver's license.
