Maintenance Technician
Location: Bolton
Duration 12 months
PAYE: £17.80 / Umb: £23.91
The Role
An opportunity has arisen to work with a Defence Manufacturing Organisation. You will be joining an improving team within the Calibration & Maintenance Department. This will involve working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.
Your Responsibilities:
- Carry out calibration Electrical of COTS Equipment using METCAL or similar.
- Maintain calibration test records and update databases.
- Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment
- Carry out Electrical Safety Check
- Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures.
- Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.
The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.
Experience Required to apply:
- Have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
- BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
