Purchase Ledger Assistant

Our client is an established business based in Measham. Due to ongoing success they are looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant for their Accounts Department.

General duties will entail:

  • Opening new supplier accounts
  • Invoice reconciliation with purchases and statements
  • Raising nominal codes
  • Cheque generation and posting
  • Ensuring invoice data is correct
  • Assisting with monthly and year end accounts
  • Word processing
  • Telephone enquiries
  • Information collation
  • Filing and photocopying

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have experience of working with purchase ledger and be a team player. You should also be confident with IT and comfortable working in a busy accounts office.
