As a Housing Officer, you'll be at the heart of our mission, delivering exceptional, customer-centric services across your designated locality. You'll ensure our services are responsive, proactive, and inclusive, all while embodying our core values
Your role
You'll be delivering a professional and high-quality mixed tenure service to our customers, using your knowledge and skills to resolve a range of housing management challenges. This could include anti-social behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contract related breaches or changes, fraud and safeguarding.
You'll be an integral part of ensuring our neighbourhoods are safe, whilst listening to our customers needs and making changes when needed, balancing your caseload with projects, shaping sustainable communities that develop an inclusive environment for our customers.
You'll blend a mix of home and office working, and will be based from our Greenham office. Working 18.5 hours per week, we're flexible on your shifts
A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Proven track record in delivering responsive landlord services and managing tenancies, in a similar role
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent at building trust, respect, and influencing positive change.
- Team Player: Experience working across teams and agencies to solve complex customer needs.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with digital tools and platforms.
- Professional Growth: Membership in a professional body like CIH is a plus.
