Lettings Officer
- Salary: Grade 5 £24,294 - £24,702 (pro rata)
- Hours: Part-time, 5pm-10pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year
- Location: London (specific area to be provided)
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Lettings Officer to manage the ongoing lettings of our school site and its facilities. The successful candidate will be the face of our school in the evenings, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all.
Day to Day of the role:
- Handle inquiries and bookings for school facilities after regular school hours.
- Maintain an organised booking system and coordinate with departments for resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Welcome clients and guests, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate facilities.
- Prepare information for invoicing and process payments for bookings.
- Close the school building, ensuring security, including the operation of alarms.
- Provide access to the school site out of school hours and support the Site Manager as needed.
- Undertake occasional porterage duties and operate the school's heating plant for optimal environment.
- Support the school's Christian ethos and values, promoting policies and ensuring health and safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ, GNVQ, or GCSE qualifications are desirable.
- Basic Health and Safety qualifications are desirable.
- Manual Handling Training is desirable.
- First Aid qualification is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or facility management.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work requirements and able to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
