Credit Controller
We are looking for a Credit Controller with a strong background in finance and customer service. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, with French being a preferable additional language. This role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection, and maintaining accurate financial records. Day to Day of the role:
- Cash posting and allocation of customer payments.
- Running and collating statements, invoices, and proof of deliveries.
- Proactively chasing customers via email and phone in a professional manner.
- Reviewing and updating customer master data.
- Using credit agency reports to set appropriate credit limits.
- Managing Direct Debit collections and order releases.
- Filing departmental paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Resolving queries and escalating issues as needed.
- Handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Managing EMEA Intercompany accounts and processing e-Invoicing.
- Performing credit checks and risk assessments on potential clients.
- Participating in initiatives to improve Accounts Payable team efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Credit Control experience.
- Fluent in Spanish; French is also preferable.
- Proficient with SAP (AP), MS Office, SAP Concur, and strong Excel skills.
- Resilient and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Organised, flexible, proactive, and results oriented.
