About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic organisation in Wolverhampton, seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will join a welcoming and friendly team of HR professionals, serving as the primary point of contact for routine employment queries. The successful candidate will handle recruitment activities, manage updates to the HR/Payroll system, produce contracts of employment, and undertake various other tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare contracts of employment for new hires and manage monthly payroll changes
  • Monitor and track sickness, documenting outcomes
  • Ensure staff compliance with the latest legislation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for managers and staff regarding routine matters
  • Oversee recruitment documentation
  • Maintain accurate data in the system

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or Assistant is required
  • CIPD qualification is desirable
  • Excellent telephone manner and skill in handling both telephone and in-person enquiries are essential
  • Experience using an HR/Payroll database
  • Basic knowledge of employment law
  • Understanding of the recruitment process
