A requirement has arisen for a very strong administrator to join a thriving and growing company based in Ashby De La Zouch. The successful candidate will be organised & detail-oriented with a passion for supporting dynamic teams. This company has a fast-paced environment where your coordination and communication skills will make a real difference!! The Project Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the project management team by providing administrative assistance, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring the smooth coordination of project activities. This role involves managing day-to-day project tasks, liaising with team members and stakeholders, and ensuring that all aspects of the project are running efficiently.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as an administrator, ideally within a project or team-based environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience in supporting multiple projects simultaneously is an advantage

The finer elements of the role include:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the project management team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing calendars
  • Maintain and organise all project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and time lines, ensuring that records are accurate and up to date
  • Organise and schedule project-related meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items to ensure follow-up
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Distribute project-related communications and updates as necessary
  • Assist in tracking project progress by maintaining project plans, time lines, and status reports. Provide regular updates to the project team and management
  • Assist in coordinating the resources, materials, and equipment required for project execution, working closely with procurement and logistics teams
  • Identify administrative issues and provide solutions to keep the project on track. Escalate challenges to the project manager when necessary
  • Support the project budget by monitoring expenditures, processing invoices, and assisting in financial reporting
  • Assist with any additional tasks or responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the project
