The Greater London Authority are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer who is proactive, adaptable, and efficient. This role is perfect for someone with previous experience within a similar role and who has experience planning and organising, including managing Boards. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver who can juggle multiple conflicting tasks and prioritise effectively.
Day to day of the role:
- Accurately take minutes during meetings and provide diary support to senior staff.
- Plan and organise board meetings, showcasing strong problem-solving skills.
- Handle multiple tasks, prioritise in a fast-paced environment, and manage conflicting demands.
- Build and maintain relationships across the organisation, collaborating effectively with various teams.
- Drive improvements in ways of working and streamline processes for better efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven business support experience
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage board meetings.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter who is motivated and can work independently.
