THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and creative Graduate Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team.

We have three roles which will focus on

  1. SEO, PPC, and PR activities to elevate our online presence and drive traffic to our website. You will play a crucial role in shaping our digital marketing strategies and ensuring that our brands continue to lead the market.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy:

Develop and optimise content with titles, headers, keywords, meta descriptions, and alt tags for images.
Implement an effective internal and external linking strategy to boost site authority and improve search engine rankings.
Manage off-page SEO, including managing backlinks, removing damaging links, and fixing broken backlinks.
Locate and convert brand mentions into valuable backlinks.
Develop and manage linking strategies from social media platforms.
Create and manage local listings for link-building opportunities.
Engage in forums to manage responses and enhance our digital footprint.
Coordinate digital PR efforts to secure high-quality backlinks.

PPC Management:
Implement and oversee the PPC strategy across various channels.
Monitor ad performance and adjust campaigns to achieve desired outcomes.
Manage budgets aligned with campaign objectives and overall marketing goals.
Provide weekly reports on all KPIs, analysing campaign performance and recommending improvements.
PR Management:
Write compelling content for press releases that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.
Manage our relationship with external PR agencies, ensuring that campaigns are executed effectively and deliver measurable results.

  1. CRM Marketing

Delivering B2B Email Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement targeted B2B email marketing campaigns that align with our business objectives.
Collaborate with the sales team to create personalised email content that resonates with our key accounts and prospects.
Monitor and analyse the performance of B2B campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.

Developing B2C Email Marketing Strategy:
Craft engaging and effective B2C email marketing campaigns to drive customer retention and acquisition.
Use segmentation techniques to tailor messages to specific customer groups, enhancing relevance and engagement.
Experiment with different email formats and content to optimise open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

CRM / HubSpot Management:
Manage and maintain the CRM system (HubSpot), ensuring data integrity and effective utilisation across the organisation.
Develop and execute segmentation strategies to target specific customer segments with relevant content and offers.
Oversee list health and growth, implementing strategies to maintain an up-to-date and engaged database.
Design and manage workflows, automations, and forms to streamline processes and improve customer experiences.

Reporting on KPIs:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for email marketing and CRM activities, providing insights and recommendations to optimise performance.

???????Generate regular reports to monitor the effectiveness of email campaigns, list health, and CRM usage.
Present findings to the marketing team and senior management, offering actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

  1. New Business Development

Creating New Leads:
Develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract new customers across various market sectors.
Use a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, and direct outreach to generate a robust pipeline of leads.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff and follow-up of leads to maximise conversion rates.

Key Accounts:
Support the sales team by identifying and cultivating new opportunities within key accounts.
Develop targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with key accounts and drive engagement.
Maintain regular communication with key accounts to understand their evolving needs and introduce them to relevant products and services.

Commercial Development:
Work closely with the commercial team to align lead generation efforts with broader business objectives.
Analyse market data and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities and optimise marketing strategies.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials and campaigns that highlight Birkdale's unique value propositions.

New Opportunities with Existing Customers:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing customer base by understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
Develop marketing initiatives that encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
Track and analyse customer engagement data to refine strategies and improve results.

THE INDIVIDUAL
Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Creative thinker with excellent communication skills.
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous learning.
