Salary:

£35000 - £37,000 increasing after 6 & 12 months.

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. (Part-time available after training period)

About the role:

We are looking for

Registered Adult Nurses (RGN/RMN/RNLD)

, Occupational Therapists or Paramedics looking for an exciting change in their career! Being employed by an award-winning contract holder working alongside the DWP as a Clinical Disability Assessor / Functional Assessor. Training – Fully funded for 10 weeks in 5 stages. Support, robust hybrid and learning experience.

Onsite to complete face to face training, receive support and conduct face to face assessments. This includes but is not limited to the below:

  • Stage 1: Induction day
  • Stage 2: Face to face training days to be allocated upon starting.
  • Stage 3: Full time face to face mentoring on site (up to 2 weeks)
  • Stage 4: Regular on site days for support
  • Following Approval – 3 days home-based & 2 days on-site.

Main duties:

  • Engage with claimants through various assessment methods
  • Conduct consultations without admin tasks
  • Handle complex conditions confidently
  • Perform thorough functional assessments
  • Craft detailed reports using specialised IT systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year Registration on the NMC/HCPC body
  • Minimum 1-year Clinical Experience
  • Registered Adult Nurse
  • Adult Physio Therapist
  • Adult Paramedics

  • Full NMC/HCPC registration with a minimum of 1-year clinical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Adaptable IT Skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
