Calling all Public Health Engineers!
Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Public Health Engineer to join a leading Engineering consultancy on a long-term contract basis, outside IR35. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a variety of exciting residential, retail, and educational projects, and the successful candidate will be expected to operate on a hybrid basis in London.
Our client is a focused practice of building services consulting engineers. Their specialities lie within the delivery of innovative, cost effective and sustainable engineering design solutions throughout the RIBA stages and across all sectors.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Designing PH Services across every stage of the project lifecycle, from the initial brief through to design, commissioning, and final sign off
- Manage Public Health Engineering aspects of projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate Public Health solutions into overall building designs
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Engineers and Technicians
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Holding regular meetings to inform and advise clients
**Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- Professional chartered status or working towards
- Extensive experience in Public Health Engineering design
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, drainage design, and water conservation practices
