What you will be doing as a Field Service Engineer:
- Attending customer's sites to service their garage equipment in your area.
- Repairing customers garage equipment back to good working order.
- Attending planned services as well as reactive breakdowns.
- Working with the service support team on your schedule and communicating any issues and updates to them.
- Quoting repairs to customers.
- Completing service reports and job notes.
- Reporting unsafe notices correctly.
- Reporting potential sales leads to the sales and marketing teams.
What you'll need to succeed as a Field Service Engineer:
- Previous experience within an automotive workshop is ESSENTIAL - working on cars, vans, lorries. Any experience level will be considered.
- You MUST have Mechanical engineering experience.
- Ideally you will have experience with electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- A full clean driving license is ESSENTIAL.
- You will be personable and be able to communicate with clients onsite.
- You will be a natural problem solver and keen to learn.
