Seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to work closely with existing Associates, Directors, and paralegals. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-profile cases while further developing your expertise in contentious probate and dispute resolution within a leading firm.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Associate looking for a new role in a progressive firm. You will specialise in Contentious Probate, delivering high-quality, tailored legal services to a broad client base. You will be responsible for managing a complex and varied caseload with minimal supervision, providing clients with expert legal advice and support.

The opportunity

  • Representing both Claimants and Defendants, from the start of the case to resolution.
  • Managing your own cases, with guidance from senior lawyers when needed.
  • Advising clients on funding options.
  • Guiding clients on legal procedures and alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Working with experts and legal counsel.
  • Handling advocacy during certain stages, when cost-effective.
  • Specializing in specific legal areas as needed by the department.
  • Assisting senior team members with their cases, especially during their absence.
  • Contributing to the firm's knowledge resources.
