Junior Business Analyst or Junior Project Manager wanting a career change to blossom into an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM). This person is required to work for a large Professional Services business based in Central London. However, this will be a hybrid remote role where you would be expected to come into the office from time to time (maybe once a week for key stakeholder meetings).
We are looking for an individual with 'some BRM exposure' (or at least relative skills that are linked to BRM duties / tasks) who ideally has experience of working within Professional Services - if not, previous companies MUST have been of a significant size with clear exposure to difficult Stakeholder Management. If you are not from a Professional Services background, the complexity of the organisation(s) you would have worked for something that would be multi-national.
We DO NOT want a really experience BA or PM here, otherwise you would simply get bored! It is being recruited at this level for a reason, so there are ways for you to progress and move upwards.
You must be able to:
- Understand an IT function, all of the different functions and what a generally 'good' structure looks like
- Talk in business language to the business and be an excellent communicator
- Have the instinct to be a translator - really understand what the business needs are and transfer these across to technical folk
Securing this role will be down to your experience, personality, resilience, attitude, ambition and good examples of hardened 'battle scars'! Also, the Stakeholder Management experience you have must not just be subjected to IT Stakeholders, but senior business ones too - like the COO, the CFO, the CMO etc.
If you are a Junior Business Analyst or Junior Project Manager, you MUST have a good understanding of what a good Business Relationship Manager would look like and a good understand of the value of a BRM function. We need this person to have a good understanding of how technology functions are structured. You must also make a clear case as to why you would want your career to blossom into being a BRM.
The IT Business Relationship Management team should successfully act as a bridge between the IT service function and its customer base to ensure that IT services are understood and adopted...and new opportunities and challenges are understood and engaged back into the IT function. This function should also look to help develop business streams by understanding the business problems and offer innovative IT solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience. Apply now for more details.
