Product Designer - Luxury Lighting

Are you a Product Designer with a specialism in lighting? Would you like to work across glass, ceramics, metals and fabrication as well interest you? Can you work from Harlow for the first 6 months full time or could you relocate?

If you answered yes to the above questions I have a fantastic opportunity we could talk to you about as we're Seeking a talented Product Designer to take an opportunity with one of the world's leading lighting brands in their field, in a role taking concepts through to prototyping, manufacture and global sale in a variety of different formats and production methods.

This organisation have stunning custom-built offices, advanced 3d printing facilities, endless resources and a very established global NPD team. On a day-to-day basis, you will be taking concepts on a project basis and managing them from idea through to manufacture. Day to day you will be engineering products to standards and directives, designing on SolidWorks, 3d printing, prototyping, liaising with manufacturers, testing, supplier liaison and much more.

The ideal candidate will come with a BOS in Product Design or a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2/3 years' experience in product development, strong aptitude in SolidWorks, extensive experience in developing lighting, and a pro-active, can-do, autonomous personality.
