Legal Practice Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Badenoch & Clark) are partnered with a full-service law firm, assisting with the appointment of a Legal Practice/Operations Manager.
Reporting to the Partnership, the Practice Manager will handle a diverse range of responsibilities, expected to include day-to-day and annual responsibility for the firms' cashflow; advice on regulatory compliance including SRA; organisation of the firm's insurance, accreditation and practising certificate renewals; audit preparation including Lexcel; human resources management and recruitment; attending Board meetings; negotiating with third party suppliers and developing organisational and performance systems.
Excellent organisation and problem solving skills are essential to the role.
Preferred experience includes:
- Previous relevant experience within the legal environment
- A comprehensive understanding of the Solicitor Accounts Rules and an overview of the general obligations of the SRA Handbook
- Human Resources knowledge and exposure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to adhere to and manage deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong IT skills
