Lead Product Manager - Supply Chain Operations

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to be in our Burton office twice a week. There may also be occasional ad hoc visits to our London or Nuneaton offices.

About the role

We're looking to grow our amazing Supply Chain Product team with an experienced Lead Product Manager who can own a key Product area and display excellent leadership, both to their own direct team, and also within their Amigo partnership and with stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving Product strategy, development, ensuring an exceptional user experience, and optimising the overall performance of your products.

This is a hybrid position, allowing you to collaborate with a diverse and talented team from the comfort of your own location and from our Distribution Centers in Burton. Travel will also be necessary to the Distribution Centre in Amsterdam on occasion.

Your focus will be on supporting the delivery of our WMS and MRP systems, which will enhance the colleague experience across our Distribution Centres and improve fulfilment rates, plus we're also integrating with a 3rd party automated picking solution. We are looking at significantly improving the way we fulfil stock in our network and data will form a key part in shaping our roadmaps to deliver against the vision for this area.

Owning the Supply Chain Operations Product area within Supply Chain which covers anything that touches our DCs, manufacturing of OL products and supports global fulfilment

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive 3-year Product strategy aligned with Holland and Barrett's mission and business goals for the Supply Chain Operations Product area.
  • Bringing together a number of internal teams, creating a shared global vision and plan
  • Deep understanding of business goals, market opportunities, and customer/partner needs to inform Product decisions.
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers of varying experience
  • Contribute to the wider Product Organisation by being part of the Product Leadership Team
  • Support the Head of Product and VP Product in mentoring throughout the Product organisation

User adoption and satisfaction:

  • Implement strategies to drive user adoption and satisfaction across the Supply Chain systems in our DCs
  • Working with the UX team and directly with users, understanding the user needs and how our Product suite supports them now and in the future

Feature Development:

  • Lead the ideation, prioritisation, and implementation of new features and enhancements that contribute to a world-class user experience.
  • Create an empowered team that drives effective E2E Product process and delivery
  • Have a customer-centric approach to all feature work
  • Work closely with operational and development teams, acknowledging the remote nature of collaboration, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Focusing on ROI and being accountable for ensuring tangible value is being delivered in your Product area

Skills and experience

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstratable leadership experience
  • First class communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to fit the audience
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills – an outstanding storyteller
  • A strategic thinker, supported by high EQ to help lead a team to success
  • Complex stakeholder management skills in a matrix environment
  • Conflict resolution –understanding how to reduce andmanage quickly and efficiently
  • Data driven, passionate about metrics and driven to continuously improve.
  • Experience of 0-1 build beneficial
  • Experience in Supply Chain or Retail domain is desirable.
