Accounts Assistant (Practice), Full or Part-Time, Farnborough, £28-30k + Study + Parking
This is a permanent office-based job and the client will consider someone working either full time or part time (20-25h a week)
Working in the friendly and supportive team at this small and successful accountancy practice, this could be a great opportunity for a someone studying their AAT to gain varied, hands-on practical accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, and reconciliations.
- Supporting Senior Accountants in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and associated documentation.
- Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:
- AAT qualification or equivalent (part-qualified ACCA/ACA candidates are welcome).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Some accounts assistant level experience ideally in a practice environment is essential to be considered.
