HR Assistant

Human Resources Assistant required for a busy, international organisation with head offices in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Working within this well-respected and established company with worldwide industry links, the successful candidate will provide support to the Head of HR and and team on a variety of HR related activities.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Supporting the recruitment process including liaising with candidates, managing agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, organising and attending interviews and , issuing appropriate documentation
  • Taking responsibility for on-boarding and induction processes for new starters
  • Managing, recording and tracking day to day absences
  • Supporting on-site training and development activities
  • Taking responsibility for the on-boarding and induction process for new starters
  • Supporting the operation of an integrated HR and Payroll System
  • Supporting the Head of HR as required

Applications are invited from candidates with the following qualifications, experience and aptitude:

  • Educated to 'A' level standard with previous experience in an HR administrator / assistant position
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience of working with an integrated system
  • High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
