Senior Reporter
Salary: £35k - £40k
Location: Central London
Work from Home: 2 days a week
Overview: An exciting opportunity to join our partners team as a senior reporter, responsible for developing the brand and creating engaging content for the website. Content will include timely, on-the-day news related to the financial industry as well as larger data-driven features for the website, magazine, and reports.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Write articles on topics including Smart Beta, Indexing, and Passive Funds.
- Meet key individuals in Europe's financial industry and develop an understanding of financial products.
- Contribute creative ideas and discover interesting stories for daily and monthly content.
- Provide news and feature coverage for the website and social media.
- Adapt content quickly based on performance and produce multimedia content (video interviews, animations).
- Learn which content performs best for customers.
- Produce copy for multiple channels (web, event, print, social media, blogs).
- Host panels and fireside chats at industry events.
- Represent our brand at various events and engage with key industry experts.
Experience Needed:
- 2-3 years of experience as a journalist covering asset management.
- Desire to learn about a rapidly developing industry.
- Proven experience in journalism or demonstrable enthusiasm to be a first-rate reporter.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-energy environment.
- Keen interest in finance.
- Passion for research and storytelling.
