The Company
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for optimising production processes and driving continuous improvement? This leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our dedicated team of experienced professionals in achieving operational excellence across all aspects of their busy and growing manufacturing and assembly facility based in Birmingham.
The Role
The Production Manager will be the hands-on leader of all aspects of manufacturing operations within the organisation and reports directly to the UK MD. They will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring that key business deliverables are met and exceeded. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production performance, cost management, and the introduction of new processes to enhance efficiency. You will be accountable for delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets across the department, and you will lead dedicated continuous improvement initiatives to realise the department's full potential.
The Person
As an experienced and proven Production Operations professional, you will have knowledge of metals-based manufacturing and assembly operations including; CNC Machining, Milling, turning and detailed product assembly. The Production Manager will be a champion of Continuous Improvement and Right First Time mentality across the manufacturing operation and will be well versed in the leading or Quality, Health and Safety and On-time delivery metrics in a busy production environment.
