Payroll Officer

If you have end to end experience in payroll with experience in a Payroll Bureau, this role is for you.
Your clients will range from small businesses or partnerships, to medium-sized companies with a number of pay cycles and frequencies. No two days will be the same! You will prepare accurate payroll records and ensure timely payments using designated payroll software, comply with all HMRC legislation (including RTI / Auto enrolment), process BACS payments , prepare payslips and ensure chargeable hours and recovery targets are met. You must have a really robust understanding of UK payroll legislation and process.
This role will require you to be a superstar in terms of customer service; you will be working with nominated senior members of each business, striving to deliver the very best service possible to meet their varied payroll needs.
Salary will depend on level of experience; some of this experience must come from a practice setting. The company offers flexible hours and may allow you to work a nine-day fortnight, but it will be 100% based from the office; it is not suitable for home working. The business offers free on-site parking, an enhanced annual leave allowance and will match your pension contribution.
