About the Role:
We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive Ocean Export Coordinator with experience in Ocean Export Sales. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing tailor-made solutions to clients. As part of an ever-growing Export Ocean department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional logistics solutions that enable clients to export their products to new and existing markets successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Ocean Freight Manager to achieve department and company goals.
- Develop and seize commercial opportunities, proactively seeking out and capitalizing on all potential business.
- Provide competitive quotes for Export Ocean Freight Shipments.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude while building and nurturing client relationships.
- Enhance procurement and supplier management by securing competitive rates and suitable solutions from shipping lines and other suppliers.
- Conduct customer visits and build strong supplier relationships.
- Regularly follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met and issues are resolved effectively.
- Offer logistics consultancy to potential and existing clients.
- Represent the company professionally, embodying our values and commitment to first-class customer service.
Experience / Skills Required:
