About us:
We were established in 2007 by an experienced and dedicated team with an employment history that includes the health service, local authority and independent care providers.
The majority of our experience had been gained within the field of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, both corporately and within service management and delivery.
We began operationally trading on the 30th July 2007 with the opening of our first service, a day centre in the Birmingham area supporting service users from the local surrounding areas.

About the role:
We are recruiting 1x Night Staff and 1x Day Staff for our 6-bed Residential Learning Disabilities service in Shirley, Solihull. We need Support Workers that can help our clients live as independently as possible.
These roles are fulfilling and rewarding, offering a variety of tasks and involvement in achieving individual support plans outlined by Select Lifestyles Limited.
You will make a difference by enabling and empowering vulnerable people towards greater independence and integration into their local communities. Your support will cover all aspects of daily living, including domestic tasks, meal preparation, budgeting, engaging in activities, and accompanying individuals on leisure activities or other community outings.

As a Support Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Follow individualized support plans to achieve each client's unique goals and aspirations.
- Provide innovative and person-centred care on a 1-2-1 or 2-1-2 basis.
- Embrace our company value of supporting every Service User to live life to the fullest and as independently as possible.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of Daily Notes, Risk Assessments, Medication Administration Records, and Accident and Incident Reports.
- Liaise with external professionals (e.g. Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, Learning Disability Nurse), families, our in-house teams, and other agencies when required.

No prior experience or qualifications necessary-just bring your empathy and engagement.
It is essential that you have a Full UK Driving License (manual preferred).

Contracts Available:
37.5 hours (162.5 per month) = 15 (12-hour) shifts per month.
33 hours (143 per month) = 13 (12-hour) shifts per month.
22 hours (95.33 per month) = 9 (12-hour) shifts per month.
