A British Professional couple are looking for a professional cleaner to come and clean / organise their property. They live in a large manor house with extensive gardens and holiday cottages within the grounds. You would be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the residence and managing the house cleaning schedule. The family live on the outskirts of York, 3 miles from the city centre.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that the house remains organised, clean & tidy
*
Regular cleaning of Kitchen / Bathrooms / Bedrooms / Living areas
*
Fulfilling daily / weekly / monthly cleaning schedule for the house
*
Keep track of house cleaning stock & create inventory of items
*
Managing laundry for the house including all linens and ironing
*
Receiving household shopping, discarding of out-of-date products and keeping stock replenished
*
Carpet / floor cleaning
*
Fireplace cleaning and resets
*
Flower displays / plant care
*
Other ad-hoc duties as required - the applicant should have a flexible, proactive attitude to completing the role requirements
*
Reporting any issues to the House Manager
Candidate Skills Required
*
Ability to identify what needs to be done in the house
*
Ability to prioritise workload
*
Create systems if and when needed and/or maintain these systems
*
Excellent time management
*
High attention to detail
*
Knowledge of products / fabrics / surfaces
*
Proficient use of different types of cleaning equipment
*
Must be good with animals (dogs/cats)
*
Positive and professional attitude
*
High level of discretion and professionalism
*
Previous work in a hospitality / hotel setting essential
*
UK clean driving license and own car to get to and from work
*
Minimum 1 year experience within a cleaning role
*
Occasional weekend work may be required - minimal
