JIB Field Electrician

A great opportunity has arisen to join a global manufacturing / install company who have stable opportunities for qualified electricians.

Job Description:

  • Liaise with Electrical Manager and other members of the team to ensure site proposals are understood, correct materials loaded etc.
  • Communicate any on-site issues to the Electrical Manager and other members of the team and work to reach a solution.
  • Work alongside the build and ATM Install teams to complete site works in line with a weekly schedule to meet ATM delivery/install times.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports at existing ATM sites throughout the UK.
  • Carry out ‘adhoc' electrical repair and maintenance works at existing ATM sites throughout the UK.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports and In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment at our existing ATM sites throughout the UK.
  • Review and adhere to site specific H&S documentation and requirements.
  • Accurately complete site ‘sign-off' documents and take completion photographs.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2382-18 - 18th Edition wiring regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
  • JIB Grade Card holder is essential for installation
  • Good organisational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety practices on site.
  • UKPIA-SPA Petrol Forecourt training is desirable.
  • Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with site contacts and office supervisors.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to work away from home for periods of up to one week in length.

Package details:

  • Salary: £35776 per annum basic
  • 24 days holiday, not including Bank Holidays, this rises to 25 after 5 years' service.
