We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects within Food/FMCG manufacturing facilities , ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Design and Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electrical designs, specifications, and drawings for new installations, upgrades, and modifications to existing systems.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support: Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical issues, and optimizing system performance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical projects and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, with a strong focus on safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to electrical projects, including project plans, drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within electrical systems and processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and drafting. - Desirable
  • Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
