Role: Compliance Specialist (Degree/Higher Apprenticeships)

Your role is to be responsible for all funding and compliance protocols for Degree/Higher Apprenticeships
You will own the end-to-end administration journey to ensure compliance with ESFA/DfE funding and audit requirements whilst being mindful of university partner regulations
Job Description:
You'll support the DA Compliance Team Manager with the day-to-day management of tasks, reporting, supporting process and system improvements, projects as well as driving best practice and operational improvements across the wider business.
- Conduct all internal processes and protocols in accordance with agreed timescales
- Complete eligibility and funding checks for all apprenticeship applicants in line with current ESFA/DfE funding and internal requirements and confidently challenge applications when required.
- Ensure all learner ILR's and personal records are accurate and maintained from the start to the end of the learner journey in accordance with current ESFA/DfE Funding Rules
- Manage the prompt resolution of all ILR errors and funding DLOCKS, highlighting trends to the DA Compliance Team Manager
- Process and track apprentice withdrawals, suspensions, reinstatements, achievements and change of circumstances
- Conduct regular 'dips' into learner records to provide compliancy advice and improvement actions/sharing of best practice to sales and delivery leads
- Represent the DA Compliance Team Manager at meetings when required
About you:
- Experience in a similar compliance role
- Experience in working in the apprenticeship sector (essential)
- Knowledge of Apprenticeships (essential)
- Knowledge of current ESFA/DfE Funding Rules (desirable)
- Knowledge of Awarding and assessment organisation requirements (desirable)
- Databases and reporting (desirable)
