We are seeking an A-Level English Teacher for a temporary role in Chesterfield. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for English literature and language, and a desire to inspire and educate students at the A-Level stage. The role requires an Enhanced DBS and offers £25 per hour for working Thursdays and Fridays.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and informative lessons to A-Level students.
- Preparing educational material including lesson plans, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Assessing and recording students' progress and providing grades and feedback.
- Maintaining a well-managed classroom and a positive learning environment.
- Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs and interests of individual students.
- Attending staff meetings and training as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification relevant to the subject of English.
- Experience teaching English at A-Level.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Strong understanding of the A-Level English curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
