Due to continued growth my client, a highly regarded, national Pensions Consultancy, currently seek a part of fully qualified accountant to join their Manchester office. The role will involve performing a wide range of accounting duties across a portfolio of clients pension schemes - duties will include:
- Scheme account preparation and trustee reports
- Preparation of trial balance
- Recording of scheme transactions
- Obtaining valuation and disclosure information regarding pension scheme events
- Reconciliation of pension payroll, investments and contributions
- Assisting with new client on-boarding from a finance perspective
- Preparation of cash analysis and FRS102
- Assisting with the preparation of Audit files
- Liaising with auditors and trustees in order to resolve queries
Applicants will be part or fully qualified (ACA) Accountants with experience in managing multiple accounts. A background in a practice environment or pensions would be beneficial or exposure to multiple clients / lines of business. You will be an adaptable problem solver and team player with the ability to work independently in a positive and pro-active fashion
