My client, who specialises in Travel Aviation and logistics is seeking a standalone HR Manager to work closely with the new CEO and can make this role your own as its brand new!!
Role Purpose
To take the lead on the employee life cycle for all new employees.
Reporting to the CEO
- With local senior leadership, manage on all employment relations matters within the scope of local employment legislation using the regional HR Managers/ Directors for local expertise as required
- Provide coaching to line managers through to board directors on people related matters
- Manage and process all transactional HR in line with company policy e.g. new starter paperwork and onboarding, promotions and salary increases, leavers off boarding, ensuring the HR system remains accurate and up to date
- Manage application and renewals of work permits and visas as required
- Conduct exit interviews provide executive summary of key trends and recommendations
- Manage the recruitment process including sourcing and selecting candidates for hiring managers to interview
- To provide change management support as required e.g. during a TUPE process
- Develop and deliver training as and when required e.g. recruitment
- To lead on ad hoc projects as and when required
- To be a key member of the HR community always looking for ways we can improve the value we provide to the business
Experience
- Previous experience operating as a HR manager within the airline sector would be a distinct advantage
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent working experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience of keeping abreast of changing employment law and trends
- Ability to travel as required
- Proactive, solutions orientated and confident to push back where needed
