Outbound Sales Team Leader

We now have an exciting opportunity available to lead and coach our team of passionate Outbound Sales Advisors , based nationwide on a hybrid-remote basis.

Core duties will include leading a team of dedicated Outbound Sales Advisors, responsible for providing recommendations to buyers and sellers on a range of products and services available through Yopa such as valuations, mortgage advice and conveyancing support. You will be responsible for motivating and driving team performance through coaching and personal development, ensuring we continue to deliver the quality customer experience Yopa prides itself on.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, development and coaching to the outbound sales function. Actively engaging and supporting the development of the team to ensure optimum sales performance. The development of the team will mainly be driven through online coaching, live call monitoring and group calibration sessions.
  • Ensuring the team are maximising cross-selling opportunities of additional ancillary products and services to both clients and customers.
  • Providing your team with extensive knowledge and experience of the vendor journey. Ensuring all customers receive the highest possible level of service from your team.
  • Responsible for the team's contribution towards the booking of high quality valuations to ensure every vendor has an amazing home moving experience every step of the way; from the point of instruction through to the point of completion.
  • Run regular and creative incentives to promote team engagement and motivation.
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1's with the team on an individual basis using sales data to tailor objective setting for each individual on the team.
  • An understanding of the property sale/purchase journey desirable
  • Handle all escalated complaints about Yopa and our recommended partner services arising during the transaction and resolve to a positive outcome at first point of contact. If complaints are officially raised, ensuring the complaints handling process is adhered too.
  • Consistently drive the Yopa Customer Experience and the creation of customer fans; driven through training, coaching and quality monitoring.
  • Develop a positive working relationship with relevant stakeholders, local Yopa agents and contact centre team members.
  • Working closely and reporting to Operations Manager to review management information and make suggestions, recommendations as to improvements across the contact centre.

Skills & Experience:

This exciting role requires you to have proven experience in the following areas:

  • 2+ years in a sales management position
  • Track record of driving revenue generation through performance metrics
  • Demonstrable experience of leading by example to deliver results
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate fantastic people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding and ability of analysing sales data
  • Ability to effectively manage time
  • Proven track record of developing a team to deliver sales performance targets
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to understand the needs and requests
  • Tech savvy and computer literate

The desirables:

  • Previous experience of delivering exceptional sales growth through leading a team
  • Estate agency experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to work under pressure, targets, and deadlines
  • A positive and hard working mentality
  • Ability to quickly and easily build rapport with team members and customers
  • A track record of guiding your team to thrive within a target driven environment
  • Familiar with Five9 Predictive telephony, Speech analytics, Salesforce etc.

Package Includes:

  • Base salary up to £30k with uncapped monthly commissions based on team performance, OTE's £40k-45k
  • Operating hours, Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm
