About the Role:
Our client in the highways industry are looking for a HGV / Class 2 Driver! You'll play a key role in keeping the Dartford depot running smoothly. From managing the yard to ensuring the vehicles are in top shape, your efforts will keep everything organized and efficient.
What You'll Do:

Yard Management:
-
Coordinate deliveries and check stock levels.

Keep the yard tidy and safe.
-
Manage waste bins and skips.
-
Maintain stock levels for sand and ballast.
-
Label and store deliveries properly.
-
Prepare materials for site teams.
-
General housekeeping around the depot.

Vehicle Duties:
-
Handle the delivery and collection of site vehicles.

Refuel and clean vehicles.
-
Drive vehicles nationwide as needed.

Correctly store COSHH materials.
-
Step in for operatives on site when needed.

Perform scrap metal runs.
-
Hire and off-hire plant/equipment as required.

Health & Safety:
-
Follow the company's Health & Safety and Environmental policies.

Report any HSEQ issues to the supervisor.
What You Need:
- Full driving licence.
- Class 2 Licence.
- In-date CPC and Tacho.
- Comfortable working outside in a physically demanding role.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in training.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
