This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, successful and forward-thinking company in the construction industry.

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the site. You will be responsible for directly supporting the Senior Management Team and acts as a facilitator between the commercial organisation and the financial and operational functions. This role offers significant business exposure and is a proactive responsive function that will support the senior sales and executive team' throughout the business.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Utilise and develop financial information systems to produce insightful dashboards.
  • Support the calculation of key performance indicators and assist in analysis for planning and forecasting.
  • Input into the demand and planning process to provide accurate forecasts.
  • Offer assistance to management on rebates and promotional plans.
  • Measure sales team bonus schedules and conduct pricing and margin analysis.
  • Develop business reporting models using tools such as Power BI and Dynamics 365.
  • Analyse sales pricing and volumes by product class.
  • Assist in the delivery of commercial inputs into business operation planning and strategic 5-year plans
  • Data manipulation and interpretation from CRM systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A business or STEM related degree or equivalent.
  • Experience of business intelligence tools and models
  • Accountancy qualifications or part.
  • Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in business reporting models, particularly Power BI and Dynamics 365.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Experience with sales pricing, volumes by product class, and margin analysis.
  • Ability to provide accurate financial forecasts and input into planning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support management decisions.
  • Adept at working with financial information systems and producing dashboards.
