English Teacher - September 2024 - Cirencester

We're currently seeking an English Teacher for September 2024, on a part time or full-time basis until July 2025.

The school have two options of roles, either a full duties role where the pay ranges from £140 to £250 PAYE per day, commensurate with experience and PayScale standards, or the school will be happy to take someone on a supply basis with pay ranging from £125 - £200 a day PAYE.

Position Overview:

As an English Teacher within a school in Cirencester, you'll have the opportunity to ignite students' passion for English literature and language.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE level, focusing on language and literature.
  • Support students' academic and personal growth.
  • Provide regular assessments and constructive feedback, tracking progress and offering guidance.
  • Cultivate a love for literature, language, and creative expression among students.
  • It would be beneficial to teach to A-level English would be advantageous, enriching students' educational journey.

Requirements :

Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and relevant documentation for new checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
Provide a comprehensive CV reflecting your employment history over the past 10 years.
Legal right to work in the UK.
