About the Company:
Our client is a leading innovator in home interiors, dedicated to delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of their customers. They are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to take full ownership of their product portfolio, ensuring their offerings remain at the forefront of the market.

About the Role:
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing products from conception to obsolescence, driving the Vision, Roadmap, and Strategy to support the company's overall goals. You will lead the development and market introduction of new and existing products, ensuring they meet market needs and company standards.

Please note: This role focuses on designing and developing physical products, therefore IT product management experience is not transferable to this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee products throughout their lifecycle, from inception to obsolescence.
  • New Product Development: Generate and own the New Product Development Funnel, creating business cases for new products, improvements, and ventures.
  • Strategy and Vision: Develop and lead the Vision, Roadmap, and Strategy for the product.
  • Cross-functional Liaison: Act as the liaison between Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Production to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
  • Market Expertise: Serve as the company's market expert for the product segment, continually monitoring competitor activity to ensure product differentiation.
  • Pricing Strategy: Propose and manage product pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to position the product and support sales efforts with training and marketing materials.
  • Forecasting: Provide sales and operational forecasts to align production resources and procurement.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct market research to understand customer needs and act as their voice within the business.
  • Beta Testing: Run Beta/Pilot programs with early-stage products or samples.
  • Customer Feedback: Manage the capture and distribution of customer feedback to continuously improve products.

Essential Criteria:

  • Significant experience in a product management role working with physical products/commodities.
  • Proven success in defining and launching products that meet business objectives.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience with consumer products, preferably in interiors, home appliances, lifestyle, or home automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Commercially astute with a strong business acumen.
