Title: Senior Technical Accounting Manager
Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 + generous discretionary bonus & benefits
Location: central London - Hybrid (1 day WFH per week)
Our client is a dual US/German listed Energy group headquartered in central London. They are currently in the market for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join the growing finance team in London.
The ideal candidate will be a Big Four Senior Manager with experience of providing Audit or Accounting Advisory services to US listed FPI's or to the Energy/Oil & Gas sectors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Management of the group consolidation process (including approval of all accounting entries).
- Managing and overseeing the audit process, including agreeing timetables and ensuring timely delivery of audit information.
- Preparation of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management.
- Provision of additional explanations and analysis as required.
- Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions.
- Managing junior members of the finance team
- Assistance in ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
- ACA/ICAS/CPA (or equivalent) qualified with at least 3 years PQE
- Big 4/Top 10 audit experience is essential
- Audit or Accounting Advisory services to US listed FPI's or to the Energy/Oil & Gas sectors is essential
- Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of reporting under IFRS;
- Robust knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and focus on financial control and stewardship
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and effective time management
