A rare opportunity has arisen to join an esteemed law firm as a Partner and lead the Wills & Probate department. This department boasts an extensive client base and an excellent reputation. As a Wills & Probate Partner, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the complexities of estate planning, probate administration, and related legal matters. The ideal candidate will be STEP qualified, an excellent business leader, and passionate about this area of law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Wills & Probate department, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Be an active member of the Partnership, helping to shape the future of the firm.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Actively contribute to marketing and business development, identifying growth opportunities for the department.
  • Advise clients on estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and power of attorney.
  • Manage probate and estate administration processes from start to finish.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings and disputes.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing a team of legal professionals with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong business development background with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ideally STEP qualified.
